Mounts

I may be just happy to have a horse, but I value my 'slow' little stallion. Perhaps it is also because I am a girl, and that I am thrilled at owning my first horse.

A strange attitude, I suppose, but one I have nonetheless.

I could have faster horses, but, this one I have, I treasure, and value...

MY horse can walk backwards! How many real horses can do that? (Heheh)

Draenei Crushed By Own Mount

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Poor Draenei! I sure hope he doesn't require too much medical attention...all I have is a bottle of water and a piece of cheese.

Funny Fire-spawn

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I've made many, many campfires, but this is the first one that ever spawned itself UNDERWATER!

Needless to say the first thing I did was stand on top of it to see if it would burn me like it would if it was above ground.

Oddly enough--no burn, no damage at all.

Dancing Murlocs and More

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What a motley crew this is! This group agreed to pose while dancing...an enjoyable shot to be sure, for one does not see the Murloc costume around much.

The player wearing it told me you could either get it from two years ago, or you could buy it on eBay...for about $200.

I swear, that's a high price even for such a cool item.

The Land of Ozzy

I adored this commercial when it was on television and if I recall correctly it was the most recent one that Warcraft has made.

It's the epitome of epic.

Bearer of Gifts

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

My friend, Ko (not her real Warcraft name), has helped me enormously in the past, and today was no different.

Not only did she run me through the Stormwind Stockade dungeon, she also gave me gold to buy a horse, as well as ran me all the way to Menethil Harbor, where I bought the stallion of the color that I wanted.

So, I bow before you, Ko. You are the best of friends and I am sure I will be able to repay you someday. I just can't right now.

Make friends, and keep them. That's the message here. You never know when they may decide to be generous.

Priests Are Your Friends

Any serious Warcrafter knows this. To befriend a priest is to make things much, much easier for yourself should you choose to go on a quest.

Today I went on a quest that involved getting axes from Blackrock outrunners and such, and turning them in. Also, I had to kill one by the name of Yowler, who hung out with two other Blackrocks. (Take his paw, and turn it in)

It was difficult starting out, but, I eventually put forth a proposal to the priest who I'd just met--since I had the 'Blizzard' spell, I'd do the attacking and such, and all he would have to do was heal me.

This was satisfactory to us both, so off we went.

And boy was it easier! Though, a couple of times, he too was attacked.

The gist of it is, make friends with a priest. It can only benefit you!

17 Pound Catfish

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What is the purpose of these strange offhand items? Just to look silly or strange?

It was my first time catching a 17 Pound Catfish, and I hope it's not the last--the thing is worth 1 silver.

Hey, remember the days when you were a newbie, and you thought 1 silver was just, wow, the best thing ever?

It's still a pretty good thing.

Mohawk Grenades

Sometimes you just feel like being a jackass.

Sometimes you want to be irritating to people! And so, Mohawk Grenades.

I picked up some of them with my Nelf hunter, and found it was absolutely enthralling.

People would curse at you, but--it wears off! It's all in good fun, and that's why it's there, to make you laugh.

Darkmoon Faire

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After minor trouble in Darkshire (I decided to be stupid and try to run back to Goldshire, which unfortunately killed me four times before I said 'to hell with it' and simply hearthed back) I found myself back in Goldshire.

I like the fair as much as anyone (especially the Warcraft variety!), but having it around in Christmas season? Odd.

Darkshire Is HELL

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

When you're level 20, getting to Darkshire IS hell!

Coming straight from RPG type things like Pokemon, it was a shock to me to see level differences REALLY impacting things.

This ain't Pokemon. If this enemy is 2+ levels above you and you aren't prepared, you can easily be taken down. Unlike Pokemon where even a 10+ level disparity didn't much matter.

Warcraftette

Welcome to Warcraftette.

Why the effeminate name? Because, obviously, I'm a a female gamer.

This blog will follow a variety of my characters/toons/whatever.

So, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
